Q - Can I enroll in a course the same day that the course will be taught?

A - Yes as long as there are available seats, you can enroll and pay at the time of the course. 

Q - What do I need to complete before class

A - Nothing at all just please arrive 10 minutes early. We will provide everything else you need.

Q - Is your agency officially certified?

A - Yes! We are authorized to provide courses through the American Heart Association (AHA) All instructors maintain a valid certification.

Q - Do we host classes at businesses, churches, schools and homes?

A - Absolutely! We will travel to your workplace for as few as 5 people. We are happy to customize the training to your needs.

Q - What does "BLS" stand for?

A - Basic Life Support

Q - How long will my certification by valid for?

A - It all depends on the training center that we offer the course through but typically certification is valid for 2 years

Q - Will I get hands-on experience throughout the class?

A - Yes, every student will have the opportunity to practice the lifesaving skills on a realistic manikin. 

Q - Are our courses OSHA complaint?

A - Yes, a wide variety of courses that we offer meet OSHA requirements

Q - Who is required to take a bloodborne pathogen course?

A - healthcare workers, first responders, school staff, tattoo artists, and anyone who may encounter blood

Q - What is OSHA's bloodborne pathogen standard?

A - OSHA's bloodborne pathogen is a federal standard (29 CFR 1910.1030) that prescribes safeguards to protect workers against the health hazards from exposure to blood and other infectious materials.

Q - What is Stop The Bleed?

A - STOP THE BLEED® is the result of a collaborative effort led by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma to bring knowledge of bleeding control to the public.

Q - How old does one have to be to attend our courses?

A - We have courses that are appropriate for anyone age 13 and older!

Q - Do I have to fill out any paperwork for the course?

A - Yes, we have multiple forms for students to fill out such as (liability waivers, photo release forms, etc.)

Q - What types of supplies do we use for our course?

A - depending on what type of course we are hosting for a client our supplies can vary. We may utilize just first aid training kits with CPR masks, and Prestan CPR manikins. On the other hand, we may need to bring out our trauma trainers which are supplied to us by our good friends at Trueclot who produce the most realistic simulation blood and wound packing, tourniquet application task trainers, we also utilize a wide variety of trauma supplies from various companies such as Rescue-Essentials, North American Rescue, TacMed Solutions, TrainingConceptsCPR, WorldPoint and many other great companies!
